Roger Jungblut started his career at the age of 16 as a junior clerk in the port of Rotterdam. At the age of 27 he commenced working with a shipping company. He then moved on to become the CEO and chairman of UAL in 1983. His determination and ability to achieve the most challenging goals by finding alternative shipping solutions, is the driving force behind the continued success of UAL Alliance.

Brittany Clark joined the UAL team in 2004 and was recently promoted to Chief Executive Officer of UAL America. During her nearly 20-year tenure with UAL America, Brittany’s roles have included Traffic Manager, Line Manager, and Vice President.

As a member of the UAL Alliance, UAL America is the North American agent to Universal Africa Lines, BV. Strategically based in Houston, Texas, UAL America specializes in serving the energy sector with extensive knowledge in handling and transporting project cargos to logistically challenging territories.

Brittany holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio as well as studies of International Trade and Economics from Charles University and Prague University of Economics.  As a supporter of the Arts, Brittany is a member of the Houston Symphony League and Leading Ladies for Theatre Under the Stars. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for NCS.

Harald Maas studied Maritime Sciences at the Nautical University of Flushing, and went on to pursue a seagoing career. After coming ashore he has worked in the stevedoring world in Houston and Rotterdam, and has been working for UAL since 2007, where he started as a Port Captain. Since then, he has worked his way through the ranks to the position of Director of Universal Africa Lines B.V.

Rob Maaskant studied economics at the University of Rotterdam and pursued a career in finance and accounting. He worked for several international banks and also for an Oil & Gas service company in Canada. From 1995 onwards he operated an independent consultant specialising in mergers and acquisitions, before joining UAL Alliance a decade ago as their Financial management consultant.

Tania Galli obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from University of Glasgow, Scotland and went on to complete her Masters in Business, Corporate and Maritime Law in Erasmus University Rotterdam.  Coming from the maritime insurance background, she joined the UAL Team as Legal Counsel in 2013 going on to be recently promoted as a Member of the Board and Director of Universal Africa Lines B.V.
